The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into effect from the 25th May 2018, in compliance Kaye9walks data policy is as follows;
Kaye9walks requires consent from the client to hold their information on file, this will be requested during initial consultation by way of client signature and will be held on file. Prior to the consultation please print this data policy and gain the permission of the emergency contact by way of signature.
Kaye9walks will only request and hold on file essential client information in order to be able to operate effectively. All information held can be shown to the client on request by the individual, and if they so wish can be returned or destroyed. In the case of a client requesting the information is returned or destroyed however, Kaye9walks will be unable to provide any further services, and any future requests for Kaye9walks to provide a service will require a second consultation to regain information which will incur a £25 fee. Kaye9walks will only hold client information for a period of 12 Months, if there has not been a service request within this period Kaye9walks will destroy the client information and where applicable return keys.
